We have been with Broadlands now for over 10 years and have found the doctors capable, polite and efficient. Especially fond of Dr. Renard. I am surprise to see any negative reviews. Out of 5 people in my family attending the practice we have absolutely no complaints.

Never a negative experience. Sometimes I need to be put on hold but that is normal. Once they get to my call they are always pleasant. Dr. Renard is amazing as well as any of the doctors that I have seen when she is unable to see me for urgent same day. Also nice to have the walkin clinic in the mornings for existing patients.

Update -- had an outstanding emergency appointment with Dr. Michael Rodriguez....he knew exactly what to look for, exactly how to treat it, and spent nearly half an hour walking me through every element... plus, was just a really nice guy....the sort of visit that I've missed from medicine.... *********** I too had gone through some of the mixed experiences expressed in these comments, including confusion about some of my records, but my care has usually been very good, the recommendations for specialists have been excellent, and a situation this summer showed me that when the cards are down, the team there is OUTSTANDING. It began in May when I received a bill for tests that should have been largely covered by insurance. On close inspection, I realized I was being charged in full, and called Broadlands. They immediately recognized the problem -- they had sent my bloodwork to the wrong lab. I had changed insurance providers three times in the past four years, so I can understand the error, but this was for hundreds of dollars and I was very concerned that I was going to be spending the next several months on the phone pleading my case and hoping that in the end I wouldn't get screwed. Instead, Kristen Kirkland (who I think manages the Broadlands staff?) called me back almost immediately to say not only would they take care of the paperwork to fix this, THEY WOULD PAY THE ENTIRE BILL because it was their error. Not that they'd pay the difference, or negotiate on my behalf, or even credit my account. They were taking the entire matter off my plate, I wasn't even going to owe a copay. It was unprecedented, and unsolicited -- they just offered the best solution right from the start. That's the sort of action that builds trust, and trust is not terribly easy to earn in the medical world these days, so for that, I wanted to be sure to write a review.

This is honestly the first time I've taken to write a Google review. I'm writing to balance negative reviews. I think most people only take the time if they are unhappy with a business/service. My experience was quite the opposite. Reception was welcoming and helpful. My wait time was less than 10 minutes. The nurse was caring and listened to all of my concerns. They physician, Amy Sinha, was outstanding! She was very thorough, caring, responsive and I didn't feel rushed at all. She answered all of my questions, explained my course of treatment and provided me with follow up information. Excellent experience. I wish all practices were this good.

We recently used the EZ appointment service and were able to speak with our doctor for an online video appointment. It was great for my son to be able to get the medical care he needed without having to leave the house! The prescription he needed was quickly sent in to the pharmacy and he was able to start his medicine that same afternoon. The doctors at Broadlands Family are great and this new innovative service is just another way they stay on the top of medical advancements!

My wife and I have been patients with this practice for almost 5 years and have nothing but positive experiences with the receptionists, nurses and doctors. This morning I went to their walk in clinic without an appointment, was greeted kindly and seen immediately. As usual the doctor took the time to understand the issue and provide appropriate treatment. Highly recommended!

I have been taking my 5 kids to this practice and have had a great experience over the last 8 years. Dr. Mary Renard is wonderful. She is knowledgable and kind. I have never had a bad experience with any nurses or front office staff. They went out of their way recently to help me with an insurance issue I was having. I have no complaints with this office, and with 5 kids over the span for 8 years, that's a lot of doctor visits!

I have been a patient of Dr. Rodriguez for nearly 20 years. I have always found him to be caring, friendly, knowledgeable, and effective in addressing any medical issues that I might have. He is always quick to cite recent medical research which shows that not only does he want to thoroughly explain his treatment to his patients, but that he also stays on top of new medical trends and developments. I've been very happy with him.

I am amazed at any negative reviews. We have been seeing Dr. Michael Rodriguez for several years, and have never been disappointed in his advice. He is always up to date on the most recent studies. Both my husband and I are pleased with his care. JoAnn

I'm a retired nurse so I'm pretty critical of my personal health care. I originally scheduled my 1st appt with one of the providers who had their own health crisis and was rescheduled w/Sam Heisler PA-C. I can't say enough good about the practice from front staff to medical. I highly recommend if you need a new provider! They make every effort to work with the patient and their family.
